Refund Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
We'd rather you leave with your money than stay unhappy. This policy explains when we refund and how to ask. All payments are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record, so refunds are issued through Paddle back to your original payment method.
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
If SteadyCV Pro isn't what you expected, contact us within 14 days of your first purchase of any subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly) and we will refund it in full. No questionnaire, no hoops — one email is enough.
2. Renewals
Renewal charges are refundable if you contact us within 14 days of the renewal and you have not made significant use of paid features in the new period (AI actions, Pro exports). Tip: cancelling in the billing page before the renewal date always prevents the charge — access still runs to the end of the paid period.
3. One-time purchases (AI top-up packs)
Top-up packs are refundable within 14 days of purchase if the pack is unused. Partially used packs are refunded pro-rata at our discretion.
4. When we don't refund
- Requests made more than 14 days after the charge, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
- Charges older than one billing cycle back (we can't unwind months of service).
- Abuse patterns — e.g. repeatedly purchasing, consuming AI quota, then requesting refunds.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights. If the law of your country of residence gives you a stronger refund right (for example, EU/UK consumer withdrawal rights), that law prevails.
5. How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with the Paddle receipt number if you have it; or
- reply to your Paddle payment receipt email — it reaches Paddle's buyer support directly.
We answer within 2 business days. Once approved, Paddle usually returns the money within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
6. Cancelling vs refunding
Cancelling stops future charges and keeps your access until the period ends — you can do it yourself anytime on the billing page. Refunding returns money for a past charge — that goes through us or Paddle as described above.
