Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SteadyCV — the website, web application, browser extension and related services (together, the "Service") — operated by Daniil Iashin, an individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

SteadyCV lets you create, edit and export resumes and cover letters, check resumes against applicant tracking system (ATS) criteria, track job applications, and use AI-assisted writing features. We may add, change or remove features over time. We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.
• One person may not maintain multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits.

3. Plans, payments and billing

The Service offers a free plan and paid plans ("Pro"), billed on a recurring basis (weekly, monthly or yearly, as shown at checkout), plus optional one-time purchases such as AI action top-up packs. Current prices and plan limits are always displayed on our pricing page before you pay.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payments and handles refunds in accordance with our Refund Policy.

• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• AI usage is metered in "AI actions" with a monthly allowance per plan; unused actions do not roll over. Top-up packs do not expire while your account is active.
• We may change prices; changes apply from your next billing period and we will notify you in advance.

4. Your content

You own the content you create in the Service — resumes, cover letters, notes and any personal information you enter ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process and display Your Content solely to provide the Service (including sending it to our AI provider when you use AI features — see the Privacy Policy). We claim no ownership of Your Content and do not use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content. AI-generated suggestions are drafts: review them before sending a resume to an employer. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, or that any resume will pass a particular ATS.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for unlawful purposes or to create fraudulent or deliberately misleading application materials for third parties on a commercial basis without disclosure;
• probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or attempt to access other users' data;
• resell, scrape or bulk-extract the Service or its templates;
• abuse free-plan limits or AI quotas through automation or multiple accounts.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including templates, designs, software and branding, is our intellectual property or that of our licensors. Exported documents you create from templates may be used freely for your personal job search. You may not redistribute the templates themselves as templates.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination we delete Your Content in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including statutory consumer rights in your country of residence.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
